UXR: Find a Doctor Tool

Rainbow Spreadsheet example of work.

For major health plans, a key tool is one that allows its members to find an in-network doctor or other medical services. A client wanted to understand more about the strengths and weaknesses of their own Find a Doctor tool, compare it to a set of major competitors in the industry, and gain insight into general industry trends for consideration in their own design.

UXR: Track It Forward

Track It Forward homepage screenshot.

Track It Forward is a time tracking system designed to empower volunteers and organizations to connect, track, and report their hours. Track It Forward produced an hours log tour/wizard to help trial users, guiding them through various sections of the site relating to hours tracking and introducing them to key features and functions.

Statistics showed that while trial user might begin the tour, many users were not completing it. I was asked to help discover what might be preventing trial users from completing the tour and help ideate on what could improve it.

UX Lexicon

Sticky notes on a wall and grouped into concepts for the UX Lexicon.

UX terms are amorphous and no centralized location exists where students and professionals can look up terms with confidence that the results are both up-to-date and accurate. Industry professionals volunteered their time to define 200+ UX terms to help address this need, but they needed a home. My team of four individuals came up with concepts to present these terms in a web-based format and tested a series of wireframes with potential users, iterating after each round of feedback to arrive at an MVP for future designers.
